Of course, these investments have nothing to do with God and/or faith in him, though I see some people expressing it that way. None of it is personal, either. But I find that much of the negativity that is being pushed comes from personal intent.

Re market value vs book value, it is well known that some prices are depressed under unfavorable conditions. In that case they often are a bargain for buyers. Considering Petro's snafus, we're not under the most favorable conditions right now.
