The one interesting analysis I read this week regarding APC is that it is now a very attractive takeover candidate for someone like COP or XOM, with the PPS at this level. APC shareholders would not want to see any fire sale of the assets under these conditions, so I believe we need to see the PPS recover sonner rather than later.
