in 2002 I contracted to build a home where the cabinet cost alone was over $70k.. our contractor built 7-10 similar cost homes a year using the same subs when available.. his preference custom cabinet maker had annual sales in excess of $5m back then, of course today it's probably 1/2 with the housing crash..

point is, cabinets for a few custom homes here and there can mount up very quick.. if they happen to sell/supply a country club, banquet facility or similar, that in itself could be several hundred k alone..

20-30 million $+ homes can easily exceed several million $ in custom cabinetry alone..
