Get off it. I never said or implied that. If anything, I'm a devil's advocate and an optimist. Intel isn't doomed, but they do need to find a way to exhibit growth through something else than PC's. Let's face it, it's the end of an era and the new horizon is more mobile.
I, for one, am still typing on a NB and haven't touched a desktop for decades. You, OTOH, are way too optimistic about Intel's ability to penetrate this market.
I don't consider it a victory for Intel to make a few smartphones. You do, apparently. To me, a victory would be a significant change in Intel's stock price as a result of redefinition of Intel as a growth company. Otherwise, it's just survival.
