No personal knowledge as to whether or not the illegals are taking jobs Americans refuse to do but I remember a long, long time ago seeing a correlation between a rising number of unemployed workers and a simultaneous increase in the number of want ads offering jobs like garbage collector. The inference being that Americans prefer to sit on their butts and feed at the public trough to taking some low-esteem job (of course garbage collectors are now called sanitation engineers and I understand the job pays quite well--wonder if that tempts anyone on the unemployment rolls. . .).
