Nah, your "point" is a counter intuitive fallacy.

You are implying that the longer it has taken for something to happen the longer the wait must be.

My point is, like waiting for the sun to rise, the longer we`ve waited the closer we are. Not further. If I was expecting something to happen at 4am then at 5am you bet your ass yoi should be looking out for it at the edge of your seat.
