If at 3am I tell you the sun is going to come up in an hour then at 4am it's still not up, do you conclude that my repeated prediction at 4am that the sun is going to come up in an hour must be faulty because I was wrong at 3am?

Of course not. If I'm off on the timeframe for a 50 year permit by 3 weeks vs. "never" by the bear raid camp, I think I'll be okay.
