"AbitibiBowater agreed to sell a company-owed golf course and the surrounding “Parc aux Anglais” to the town of Donnacona, Quebec, for C$352,000 ($337,989), according to bankruptcy-court papers. In addition to the course and park, the property includes several lots zoned for residential development."
Maybe they'd be interested in selling me a few hundred thousand acres next to some urban area for, say, $10/acre. Then I wouldn't mind their trying to steal my shares so much; well, on second thought, I would still mind unless they gave us all the same deal!
What a bunch of __________!!! (feel free to fill in the blank as you please).
Unless there's some kind of good explanation for what appears to be beyond new heights of corporate incompetence, actions such as these will seemingly only favor our arguments before the courts. They're selling things as if in a chp 7 liquidation.
