If gold doubles from here, one could expect the gold stocks to increase by several times that of the metal with the better miners doing considerably better.

In my view it's a no brainer! Buy the miners.

Thanks for your reply. I have already started averaging in. What I am most interested in are the SA gold plays. The Rand may be turning over here or in the near future. Been researching DROOY. At the current price a potential gold mine - pun intended.
