Alzheimer's update: Grifols, one of the world’s largest plasma-protein companies, will start a 300-patient trial in 2011 of IVIG for AD in direct competition with BAX’s Gammagard:

All of the plasma-protein companies will have to jump on the AD bandwagon in due course because the upside is too large to ignore. Octapharma announced its own plans for such a program a few weeks ago (#msg-49232696).
