The same citizenry that entrusted George Bush and Ronald Reagan is dangerous to America? I read a bunch of hype with no substance from you, and yet I see a far-right electorate that has to hide from their massive failures behind the skirts of a bunch of delusional failed teabaggers.
I witnessed the GOP destroy the surplus, give massive welfare for the rich, and destroy corporate responsibility, while allowing the big banks more unregulated freedom to steal 401Ks and then fail. While 75% of bankruptcies in this country are because insurance companies have left ailing Americans with huge healthcare debts, I didn't see the GOP try to solve that problem for the middle class. I saw them make personal bankruptcies more expensive for the middle class, while they touted interest bearing medical accounts that only the comfortable could afford and didn't need to have. I saw the right-wing take overtime pay away (a great idea to reduce spending by consumers). I saw the GOP dismantle the CPA while children died on unsafe toys, and cribs. I saw a friend of President Bush get away with ratshit all over his peanut factory, uninspected for years.
I saw soldiers sent to Iraq unprepared without body armor, I saw the Bush Administration leave weapons depots laden with explosives unguarded, and ultimately used against our troops in Iraq. I saw them start an illegal, unpaid war..in fact shoveling money to the FatCats was more important than paying one red cent of the war. Billions still unaccounted for. I saw the GOP in fact not pay for anything, buying off the greedy and the ignorant, while vastly depleting Government revenues, on unsound fiscal policy that is hard to politically reverse.
Even with the surplus tools to fix our long-term problems in Social Security, that ran a surplus every historical year until this year, I saw the GOP give away that surplus, as well as the rest of the forewarned 10 year projected surplus (documented), in-kind as more welfare giveaways to the wealthiest people, handing out free leases on government land to Exxon and BP, no-bid contacts on faulty electrical work by Haliburton that killed 19 soldiers, etcetera ecetera. I didn't see the GOP crack down on jobs leaving this Country. No, instead I saw them offer bigger tax incentives to take these jobs away to foreign soil..
I see a GOP that is against reforming the abuses of our system, whether it is financial, market, or healthcare related, instead coming to the defense of these abuses today. I saw a GOP installed Supreme Court recently rule for no limits on Corporate and foreign interests that wish to influence our elections. In fact, I saw an expansion on Corporate freedom, sucking the lifeblood out of the freedom of the citizenry from today's GOP.
And here you defend this record, or do you now choose to run away from it like you never really owned it, and supported it..and still you expect the majority that are not benefitting from your failed policies to find you somewhat credible!..and the reason is..because you choose even still, not to work on common sense solutions for these problems that are plaguing our country, rather to leave it behind for all future generation to deal with, or to simply bankrupt our economy by choking off the lifeblood in the game of political expediancy...so what the hell are you doing now to help? Teabagging?
Are you working with the President and Congress, on short and long-term solutions, for the same problems you ignored and exasperated, or is it just your usual bellyaching, while you engage in hero worshipping some of these same cowards while you hide behind your cloak of empty rhetoric?
And you call yourself the party of responsibility? What exactly have you done for this country to help produce better results and equal(and economic) justice for all. How come you don't take real responsibility, by acting responsible for the results of your policies? Oh I get it..you're not really a Republican, you're a teabagger...drill baby drill..oh yeah, the Gulf Coast disaster..and lack of oversight by Federal Regulators that were all Corporate oilpeople, having sex, taking bribes, and smoking Meth with Oil executives..that wasn't any bit your fault..nothing was your fault..other than running this country to the ground..
So NOW you think the American electorate is stupid? I can agree somewhat, because they were pretty ignorant to allow George Bush to come close enough to steal two elections, as he will go down as not only the worst resident in US history..but also the most incompetant. America will be picking up your garbage for years to come, and we are so lucky that we have been able to somewhat reverse course..until the next GOP-fueled legacy disaster rears it's ugly head..Critical thinkers without set motives and agendas don't buy into the trashtalk you worship..of course no one side of the political spectrum is pure and unadulterated..so I'm not defending the weak-kneed Democrats that were only interested in their own political survival either.
Working families, whether middle class, or at the minimum wage level( and you probably feel that families can still exist on $5.25/hour) need to support their families just as much as people that fix the markets at Goldman Sachs; they just do it with more obstacles that you threw in their path, and with less rights that they used to have. So why are you for keeping on this path of the destruction of the nuclear family? Why do you want to see families have to work three times as hard today to feed, clothe, and educate their children only to have their hard-earned savings taken away from them, and their children thrown out on the streets. Is it just in your nature to blame the victims of your sins, and castigate them as beneath you, while you continue to whine, and refuse to take responsibility? You want to cast stones? Go take a look in the mirror, and ask yourself something..what makes you think that you are part of the solution, and not the problem..you can't answer that honestly , you can only recycle your same bullshit and say...gee golly, we'velearned from our mistakes, and we are damn intent on repeating them, because it is very lucrative to some of us to do so..
By the way, why did you guys abandon and lose the Afghanistan War? You call that leadership..yes, you are part of that group..any attempt to disassociate yourself from this group is laughable...you supported the massive corruption, and therefore have no real credibility..but you do whine real loud, you always have. But when it comes to managing Government, you are just a sissy actually, and a coward, and a wink and a nod ought to make you some more trickle-down welfare that you count on..
Wait..before you flash your resume to me, and tell me how great you are, and how patiotic, and how you worked for everything in your life, and that noone did a thing for you, you did it all on your own.. well guess what? Many other people have that same work ethic, some luckier than you, some unluckier..so your solution is to make the playing field for the unlucky ones even more difficult, because you got yours, and that's all that counts, right? and .geez I do respect whatever ounce of goodness you have. Even if you are just whining and not working for real solutions.
