Can't argue with much of that, but I can point out that this is not new....that is, the foolishness of the American Public. Look at other past presidents.

However, to the people's defense, I'd like to posit that the system presents us with the choices. So the foolishness is not the choices, imo, but faith or tolerance of the system.
