It is so much money. It had to cost at least $200 million to rehab one of those from the stockyard. Plus, look at the fuel cost to run that thing. A trip past the equater was cancelled, due to the cost of fuel. USS IOWA (BB-61)
To build one from scratch has to be at least $500 million.
