thats a good question and it would only be pure speculation to offer an opinion but I will.
The fact that the Costner brothers have donated their equipment and it is being used in a trial application is not the best news any way you look at it. If I am BP and trying to get out of this mess and look good to the public if I implement a product and it works I am not sure if I go looking at other devices to do the same job, I have better things to do like stop the bloody leak. With that said if Genoil can PROVE without a doubt that not only does their equipment do a better job but also is a product that they could work with in the future as part of the process it could be considered. Coast guard approval is a big plus IMO because even though the concentration right now is cleaning up the mess if they can do it quicker and more efficiently with a recognized product it would make sense to investigate the possibilities further.
Also Genoil can clean the sands that have been polluted and as far as I know Costner's do not offer this technology so it would make good business sense that if a deal is struck might as go with one resource that can offer it all.
Another thing to consider is that even if they are using the Costner's method the sheer scale and volume of this disaster could warrant more than one company assisting in the clean up.
The press release was a nice update in regards to what David has actually been doing overseas and I think its fair to say that if any one of the projects he is working on come to fruition we will se considerable gains here rather quickly, dont forget this stock used to trade @ .80 plus. We just need to get a firm deal in place and some revenue flowing and the sky is the limit. Read the post in the Ibox from a well respected stock advisor about the potentil of this being a hundred dollar a share stock one day if thing come together ad it gives you an idea of the potential here, even at a fraction of that prediction.
Cheers and welcome aboard.
