A more meaningful date would be Jan 1st. My port is up almost 100% since last Sept., but oonly up 15% this year. It is easy to go back to last years highs and give info form that point, but it is almost meaningless. All the funds give YTD. It is hard to compare everyone else to Swing Trade when you use Oct 2009.
