To david: All that is true, Logs are a pig in a poke in that until sawn the purchaser can't really grade his investment so typically it is buyers trepidation to buy high.

On your other point of comparing 20 year teak to 25 year standing teak logs. I'm not sure the extra 5 years makes for a real difference in the trees value.
