some reports i was hearing brought it to double and triple that amount,...but those are not confirmed,...they are scientific estimates based on the latest video footage.

5000 barrels = 210,000 gallons

10,000 barrels = 420,000 gallons

15,000 barrels = 630,000 gallons

20,000 barrels = 840,000gallons


i'm really concerned about the dispersant,...it appears to be equally as toxic as the oil.

there are other alternatives but BP is not using those. they are quickly becoming part of the problem and not part of the solution.
