Right now we are working on our Handcamp Gold Property which is a very high-grade gold property. When I say high-grade that is from 158 grams of gold per ton in some grab samples. Yet we did a channel sample of approx..30 feet with a little over 7 grams of gold across the exposed outcrop; this is right on the surface.
I guess this is the only thing I'm having trouble with right now. I've played a lot of BiotTech in the past and agree with the comparison of a BT stock going into FDA approval vs. drilling results for a company like KAT. They are very very defining moments for a company, either in a good way or bad. I've seen many promising BioTechs get shot down by FDA, some that were touted to get approved. There is some common knowledge amongst BT traders to sell before FDA approval unless you know something very very certain. Otherwise you could lose your shirt...
Anyways I'm rambling, back to the point. Look I'm long no matter what here, I'm waiting until HC/Lucky/and RR are figured out before selling I trust this company and the wonderful board members and the DD that much. I've been non-stop into the DD since day one, I'm hooked, I've made a lot of money on this stock as it is.
But I'm curious...
Is Handcamp a slam dunk, really? And what threshold(s) will we determine whether HC drill results are extremely favorable, nicely favorable, favorable, somewhat favorable, lacking enough gusto, etc. I know it's felsic, I know the grab samples showed off the charts gold. I know this site is different than the Handcamp used in reference before.
I also know this is our first drill. We just spent big bucks on a law firm, on a geologist, we're gaining steam the charts look perfect, a lot of eyes are either on us now, or will be very soon. Without a proven reserve, really for now we've put a lot of marbles in this first site - Handcamp. Let's face it, bills need to be paid and until we have a money maker site, this first one needs to be it.
I am confident it will be it, and more. But I also need to be careful not to wear the gold-colored glasses all the time here. Am I naive to think there is no stopping KATX here? Again is HC a sure bet to get this party started?
Because I'll say it, if HC results do not meet expectations, that's a very rocky start for KAT, and a lot of bad press to come as well. eg. Be prepared to hear "just another pink"...
Note: I'd like to put a potential JV aside for now, maybe this is a bad assumption but unless we have the results I doubt we'd see a JV first. Strangers things have happened I suppose...
