First the Patio Furniture, now the Rain Barrel?

Im sure there is junk out there but just from looking at pictures does not give any clue as to the quality of the products. I have some of that white patio furniture that was left in the paddock when I bought my place and it has probably been sitting back there under a tree since the 70's. It sure looks fine to me, its cast iron too.

The Rain barrel looks like the material my fly fishing waders are made from. how exactly do you not see it lasting?
