While I support this company, the cheesy high pitched poker commercial looks cheap....it, in my opinion, comes off as a lower cost avenue than the "As Seen on TV" ads.
I brought this up in an older post but we have stiff competition in the retail world. The can be seen by two different cases.
1. Walk into Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowe's, etc and take a look at all of the CFL bulbs on the shelf. Companies like LG, GE, Sylvania, etc are crowding the shelves with their products. Yes, none of them "Clean the Air" but they are names that families are used to trusting for quality and fair pricing.
2. Sales of $32K in a quarter is IMO small peanuts compared to how much is spent each quarter on lightbulbs nationwide. It's a tough pitch to expect the average person to pick Zevo-Tek as the sole option for lighting their homes.
I own these bulbs and while I cannot complain about their quality and possible effectiveness (I don't smoke so its harder to tell how well it works), I did pay about $8.00 a bulb after shipping and handling was factored in to my address (yes, I'm APO Box in KOREA). I bought a few other CFL bulbs here while I was waiting on mine to arrive and they cost me only 1.99-2.99 a bulb depending on size.
Hey I hope we can land some big deals. I like this company and I like the product, but we have a tough road ahead to really gain the public appreciation and make Zevo-Tek a household name.
Just my opinion.
