As you probably know, there has been a lot of talk of how many sales this company has made since the Ad Campaign began. The hype grew so much and so quickly by a few on this board and some outside of it that everyone started to jump on that bandwagon. I won't say that "I told you so...", but some realism did need to be expressed. The financials were this reality check and it showed only $32k ish in product sales.
This was a significantly lower actual figure than many had anticipated. A lot of the Momo behind this stock saw that as a weakiness (especially based on advertisement costs) and jump shipped. Above and beyond that, the balance sheet does show a significant amount of debt this company has left to consume. While yes, the quarter showed some promise, there is still a lot of lightbulbs which need sold to close the gap and put this company in the green.
I'm holding on to what shares I do have and will hope that they can land some large deals with retailers throughout.
I work for the government as an engineer and with all of the LEED certified building inititives, it would be nice to see the company push for a very large contract outfitting new construction sites throughout the DOD, State Dept, etc. They could generate some serious demand if they landed a government contract to supply bulbs throughout the country (bought and paid for)
