Iam a "kraut". Been one all my 71 years. Does it bother me to be called a kraut? Hell, no............I'm proud of who I am and where I came from, and if someone wants to call me a "kraut", I couldn't care less. When I grew up, we used to have krauts, japs, micks, spics, and wops and no-one got too bent out of shape about it either.

This current generation is a bunch of spoiled, thin-skinned cry-babies (OOps.......three generalizations in a row......I'm in touble now) who can't deal with any kind of labeling, criticism, or a host of other small-time things that we learned to shrug off. They grossly over-estimate their own importance and have a lousy sense of humor. (Oops, two more generalizations........Will I be shot or hung?)
