Queen Alexandra Property
Map Reference N.T.S. G- August 30, 2008

The Queen Alexandra mine was sunk in the early 1900's — between 1904 to 1920's. There is very little information available on this property, This property was brought to my attention by a retired geologist that was employed for many years for the Ontario Department of Mines. From the information that I received, a small bulk sample mined in that era produced a large amount of high grade gold. He picked up grab samples from the small ore dump that assayed in the 2 oz. per ton range,
A reconnaissance ground geophysical survey that R.J. Major carried out in January 2008 indicated a conductive zone in the immediate
shaft area. Four (4) new claims were staked for Cannon Exploration Inc. At the time that this reconnaissance was carried out, the weather was quite severe - -40 plus deep snow.
Information from the ground geophysical survey warranted that this property be staked.
