Why am I not surprised by this sorry state of affair: that the bureaucracy is first and most interested in collecting permit fees and growing the bureaucracy (its responsibility be damned); that none of the scientists dare to be quote/cited by name therefore the entire article may as well be made up for lack of possible verifiable citation. Why are taxpayers paying for any of them? All the bureaucrats and scientists on the government payroll should be let go until people who do not need food, clothing, roof over their heads, and do not have families to support, and do not have relatives and friends . . . in other words, "the Socialist New Men" . . . can be found to staff those important government regulatory power positions. Until then, the agencies managing feudal royal hunting reserves should be closed; the scientists are of no use to the agency even now as the agency only needs a hack report that would bring in more permit fees anyway.
