I am thinking that what we are seeing is simply the depressing effect of hope being dashed once again, so we are temporarily overselling. We would have been better off w/o the news, iow.I am still holding for a bounce, but I am torn by my belief that we go much lower next month...so any down bias makes me more than a bit concerned.

Edit: point is I expected either a rally into orcl or a rally after and wanted to act accordingly. The iraq news is bs, just like the 2000 election was a distraction at a truly historical, critical moment in the market, to say the least.
