CULS main competition:

It looks like PSMT is in better position in this niche market. It is trading less than 2 times net tangible book value and has $5.26 in cash per share. They may well run Cost-u-Less out of business. CULS has no new store openings scheduled for 2002 and has closed 10 since Dec. 2001.

On Spet. 06, 2002 PriceSmart announced August sales and plans to open 8 new stores in Fiscal Year 2003. Revenue projections of $740-$760M in 2003.
