T Rowe Price is now IDIX’s second-largest shareholder, i.e. the largest shareholder other than NVS. In a Form-13G filing today, T Rowe Price disclosed ownership of 8,101,442 shares:

According to today’s SEC filing, T Rowe Price acquired its reportable IDIX stake on 4/30/10; the filing was made today to comply with the SEC’s 10-day filing deadline for this form.

The 8.1M shares gives T Rowe Price an 11.1% equity stake based on the basic shares outstanding and a 10.3% stake based on the 78.9M share count I use for valuation purposes (#msg-49785732).
