2-3 times a year. He has typed a lot of his memoirs which I have put into book form for my son.

He enlisted before Pearl Harbor because he figured we'd end up at war and didn't want to be drafted. He was stationed at Fort Washington for the duration of the war. He had a chance to go overseas and serve under Patton but his CO wouldn't let him go.
