I was just sitting here looking at the seismic of Kina & Bomu in the ibox. If the location of the test drills are correct, they drilled into and through every zone at the very highest point in those traps. They had to know that there was a very good chance of finding only gas at that point of the target. I made a comment at the time the Kina side view came out about why they would want to drill the very top insted of down the anticline, where the oil would be. Why??

In my opinion, these wells were drilled to find out which zones had gas and pressure only. Maybe to be able to plug this info into their super computers, follow those zones down the anticlines and across the flats to see if they were all connected and what each might hold.

Sure would be nice if a big part of the JDZ was high enough to be one big trap!
