Investing in Timber

Duped, I am the "one other poster who had 0 previous entries..." The reason I "came out of the woodwork" is because I liked David's post (#2012) and wanted to support his position. I am relatively new to TATF (I bought my first trees in late 2008) and was not aware of this forum until January 2010. I found the forum after getting an email from TATF about "a great new opportunity" some time last fall. At that point I had been waiting for thinning report - I bought older trees which I thought were due to be thinned, and naively expected a timely report. After a few emails inquiring about the reports went unanswered I started wondering how great the new opportunity really was. A LOT of googling finally got me here. I spent a lot of time reading new and old posts. It seemed that all of the positions had been covered pretty well and I didn't have anything new to add.

I identified myself pretty clearly in my 3rd post (msg #2020). I was surprised when one of the other posters here sent me a message via my Facebook account.

Can you please stop calling everyone you don't like "Steve"?
