The point is, if corporate told them they had to offer it, they would have to. When I owned my pizza franchise I had to use EVERYTHING they told me to, right down to the exact brand of salt. That is part of being a franchisee, in order to carry their name and product you are legally bound to offer the products they tell you have to offer.
