Blasher: maybe I should move this conversation over to your board but heck, we are here and all the people here also have an interest in LR.
Ever since the LR tool was discussed here I have played around with it quite a bit. I see the couple of examples you have posted and yes, they do exhibit nice correlation to stock price movement. Do you find this consistent across the board on stocks, or is it just another tool to use as a filter that will help in some cases.
Ken used to discuss it quite a bit but there has not been much discussion here about LR as of late. Ken or others, I would be interested in how you have used it successfully.
I have been trading for quite a long time and have my own style. Since there are no absolutes in the market, it is always nice to have a number of tools to increase your odds (yes, tradin has a big element of gambling).
When I look at the LR tool and the intepretations, a red light goes on and tells me that low liquidity can also mean that the stock can go down quickly. It will be interesting to see what happens when we go into a downtrend for a while since most of the LR discussions have been during an uptrending market.
