All small biotech companies say they want to go it alone until they get the right offer. Some truly do want to go it alone. Some are building a negotiating position.

In any case, other than putting the company up for an immediate auction, what else could management say?

If I could afford to buy all of them, I would not need to buy any of them and I sure wouldn't be spending time on the message boards!
