It wont be a land line, it would be through internet, and no you would not be able to take it out like a cellular. You can talk from home. Have you every used Skype or yahoo messenger to call anyone? I use skype, you can call skype to skype free as well as have video chat(see eachother and talk to eachother) or you can call to a land line (home phone or cell phone) for a charge.

Our system will be very similar to Skype, that is why they talk about the phone and Camera. Hope that helps.
