tinner.....it wasn't supposed to be cute....every presidency has it's economic ups and downs.....

the fact is: the two worst economic disasters in the 20th century were caused by Democrat presidents.....both of whom were progressives....Wilson and FDR....

(the 19th century was just a nightmare....and, too long ago to bear any revelence to today)

any other 20th century president is "golden" by comparison to them....

want me to choose....ok....Eisenhower....his economic "dip" was small....a few %.....and, a RELATIVELY short duration...

look at the progressives (economically).....they are "HORRID"....years and years of economic downturn....

wilson, FDR....despicible...disgraceful....I can't think of enough bad words to describe their poor performance as presidents.....
