I doubt that news was a trigger for anything. As Zeev says (paraphrasing), the market already has a game plan most of the time. All it needs is a catalyst. The plane incident might have been a catalyst, but the blatant front running of the patriotic rally was bound to bring a reversal, especially going into OE next week.

We are going down no matter what. BTW, did you see the great news on the Beige Book?
