If I may interject with a comment...Your online brokerage firm may allow you to set up stops which are held within the brokerage firm until triggered by parameters you establish. The MM never sees the stops and you may set up the sell trigger based upon bid, ask or last...your choice. It works for buy triggers too if you are trying to join in on a price breakout.

I've moved my accounts to OptionXpress in recent months. They have THE BEST setup I have ever worked with, including the features I've just mentioned.
