We spent tax dollars on that study? I'm quite sure that most people with CMV have hyperetension problems. So do people losing their homes, losing their jobs. A myriad of patients with various none bavi treatable diseases have high blood pressure. Take away the warm surroundings of the mice and their blood pressure would probably go up without CMV. Put them in a dangerous situation, i.e. next to a snake, and I'm sure their BP would spike. Stress is an important part of high blood pressure. Any disease causes stress.

Cure the CMV and I bet the high blood pressure lowers in the majority.. A side effect of a Bavi cured or restrained disease, lower BP in the patient.
