"If you are here illegally then you need to be deported" - And how do you propose the US find the illegals and absorb the cost of "sending them back". The door's been wide open for too long for the US to try rounding up illegals in 50 states - we have to begin with today and enforce laws already on the books, not only for those who violate our immigration policy but corps who hire them - and not just close their doors for one day; if existing laws aren't clear/strict enough, pass laws that WILL do the job AND ENFORCE THEM.
During the '08 Repub primary reports surfaced that Mitt Romney had illegals working in the garden of his MA home - of course Romney said he had no idea they were there...guess they looked like Irishmen to Mitt.
