Scott. Been thinking some more about your subject. Many different perspectives I think one could have. Probably not a Christian alive that hasn't at some time struggled with those thoughts. God's word tell us we all have certain gifts. Some have the gift of compassion. Some the gift of listening. Counseling. So once we find out the gifts we have and use them for the glory of God wouldn't that be doing his will? Wouldn't doing God's will also entail spreading his word as he commands? Loving your neighbor? Seems to me so many of the things Jesus talks about in the Bible if we strive to do those things we are doing the will of God. If we are Christlike are we not doing his will? I think in our journey to be Christlike following the will of God will automatically happen.
