"The Lord speaks to us in a number of different ways… Three of those ways are:

Through His Word
Through His Holy Spirit
Through other people "

I like that! Great responses guys, and I'm glad to see you pursuing God's will for your life, Scottg.. We have been given a great amount of freedom to make choices in this life, yet God always is delighted when we seek out his BEST for our lives! The fact that have become a Christian and are born again presupposes that you understand that your life has been an utter failure. It has failed God's requirements for acceptance based on his Law and is hopelessly and rightly destined to separation and perpetual Spiritual death and separation from God without His divine and unmerited intervention. I say this because we must be careful not to get entangled again with 'doing' God's will as though this 'performance' can gain latitudes with a Holy Creator.
I'm simply writing this to encourage you to take comfort in Christ's perfect life and spotless offering on the cross as complete satisfaction from God's eyes for our full and unconditional acceptance. Christ has not only saved us who believe in Him, but given us His Spirit that we may KNOW that we are His children. "1 John 5:11-13" Anyway, God bless you, brother, for seeking His will in a practical way in this Life. The Bible was written to be heard. It was written to be read. And this is the record of God's will to man..Just remember God loved you ALONE enough to give his SON for you! This does "not" mean, that He is going to tell you when to tie your shoes in the morning.. He has also blessed us with wisdom, a mind, His revelation to man, and in your case desire to know HIM!! What a blessing.. Seek and you WILL find "when you seek with your whole heart"..

Please be blessed with this wonderful song pertaining to your question..

BTW, if there were a specific question or decision in your life, I would be glad to pray for you as would others here, and try and share Biblically based wisdom in that area.. Jeff
