I don't know what the reserves were at but saw something that said they are currently at 581 million barrels. They plan on getting them to 700 million by 2005, which would be a little over 4 million a month. Doesn't seem like enough to notice. We use about 19 million a day. I would say the military is stock piling it. But wouldn't they need it over there, but where would they keep it over there? The logostics on it must be mind boggling and fascinating at the same time.
I haven't yet been able to figure out why we are at 18 month lows, where the oil is going, and is that a problem as we start into the winter heating season. Have to keep an eye out for some data on it.
