Release dates are different Mama. People anticipate that they may change. The fact that Stan was heading into a convention and saying he had two new announcements that didn't come was a much different situation.

So yes, I'm in favor of setting release dates and PRing them in advance. It's done throughout the gaming, book, movie, music, etc. industries.
