I think a bigger upfront payment or more milestone payments, considering this deal appears to include ALL of ARRY's MEK inhibitors, would have been seen as a "better" deal but this deal does appear to be better than the MEK inhibitor deal RDEA signed with Bayer in terms of royalties. Higher milestone payments would have taken care of the risks that you mentioned.
