The stock is going up and really has no reason to do so right now. A few key people have left recently including the CMO and her stand-in, the Sr. V.P. Hage, a key researcher Peter Pushko,the V.P. of Manufacturing Jim Robinson, and the Director of Investor Relations Tricia Richardson. Also the NAI results for the swine flu were not great and the batch of vaccine made by Excellerex was not acceptable to Novavax. On the other hand they brought in an Impressive Director, Dr. Young. Would he join a sinking ship? Not likely.
I think that there may be some speculation that Novavax is setting up to take a buy-out offer. Who knows at this point. The signals from the company are all over the chart. Bill
