Special Announcement (All iHubbers Please Take Note):

The long anticipated switchover to the Hackbraten Bandwidth Collider with take place on Wednesday, April 21 commencing at 9:00 AM (EDT). During this conversion (which will require approximately five hours), the keystroke input processors will be functioning at the reduced capacity 0f 4.2 megablabs/hr.

Our system engineers have mandated that we implement posting restrictions to avoid the possibility of a complete system crash, and after much debate, we have selected to achieve this in a manner that affects as few users as possible.

Accordingly, between the hours of 9:00AM-2:00PM (EDT) on Wednesday, 4/21, users whose aliases contain the words momo, penny/pennies, pink, sponge and texas will not be able to post publicly or privately. We realize this will be an imposition for those users, and we thank them for helping us build a better iHub. (N.B. -- Under well established "ignotum per ignotius" precedents, we have petitioned market regulators to permit those affected users to trade after normal hours as compensation for any inconveniences suffered, and we expect a favorable ruling on our request prior to the market open on Wednesday.)

Also, ALL users are requested to refrain from using profanity or making sexual references in their private posts during this period as these create extra thermal loads in the English-binary-English conversion process and could further tax the system.

Last, please note that no alias change requests can be honored until the conversion process is complete.
