Thanks for that info. From the story, it now appears that Honest John took $800 into possession that didn't belong to him. In similar cases, people have been charged with crimes where they failed to return the money. He didn't spend a week trying to convince the bank to accept the money and there was a discrepancy in the numbers quoted by John and the numbers released by the bank. It's funny that he is the author of the "honest" tag.
