we are entering into a recession that will be global in nature.

I tend to agree since government's efforts and associated spending to fight terrorism is only going to show results in a much longer timescale then what we expect to see for economic recovery cycles. It is sort of like Regeans Star Wars initiative. It started long before Berlin Wall fell or Bulgarian secret police tried to bump off anti communist Pope.

zigi was probably against Star wars then as he is against Bush now.

Getting back how it ties into stocks. Uncertainty is markets biggest downside causal factor. Signs of slowing growth overseas is slowly stealing away foreign equity investments aka premarket selloffs last week.

I give market later today or Monday to cash in short covering from Intel's "the sky is not falling it just contracting a little" update yesterday.
