OK, this is what is also known as shorting the bid.

IMO we have been seeing (only recently), some of this because the perception is that the time is nearing for MMs to cover past open postions (and we know how much they dont like to lose on that) and the pps was already shorted up to .01+

I had suggested, that shorting of the bid would begin soon late last week and yesterday I think it began in earnest.

It seems to me that MMs are aware that there is plenty of demand for this stock and are readying themselves for further action as indicated by the most precipitous drop in the last 10 trading days.
