and, what struck me is that it's a rather eloquent but nebulous observation which can be applied with varying degrees of accuracy to almost any moment in human experience...from current afairs to hindsight glimpses of history....
it's almost another way of stating or viewing, with focus upon a nation or world community, that which one generation observes about the succeeding generation as values and mores change....thereby, somewhat alienating that which has been the status quo and wondering what the future holds.
Some of these periods of political and social limbo can be forced or induced...
I might suggest that most of a political scope are induced to the extent those in power or vying for power are able to sway the perception of the masses....
well written, but, IMO, not a revelation....it's timing and significance reinforce the current stuggle to diminish US sovereignty in favor of world governance
